eCommerce Statistics for South Africa

Statistics gathered from over 65,000 respondents during the 2013 South African eCommerce Awards and referred predominantly from South African based eCommerce web sites. UAfrica’s research found that the average South African online shopper takes less than 5 years after first gaining access to the Internet, to make their first online purchase. This contradicts other research conducted by World Wide Worx’s Arthur Goldstuck, which states that it takes the average user 5 years or more before they become comfortable shopping in line. Join both UAfrica and Arthur Goldstuck at the 2014 E-Commerce Conference to hear their expert opinions and insights.
